Perils for Pedestrians - Retrofit Reasons

 Sidewalk along Beachway Drive
This sidewalk was added to Beachway Drive in Fairfax County, Virginia, after a girl was killed walking to Bailey Elementary School. Sidewalks should be more than just monuments to dead pedestrians.
